Ashley's love of horses and passion for the equestrian sports all began at the tender age of six. When, much to the astonishment of her parents, she came home from school and stated she wanted to learn how to ride a horse. From that one simple request, and her first riding lesson, her life's path was set!

Right from the start Ashley had great opportunities to ride with elite top riders, participating in multiple clinics with Michael Matz, Ian Miller, and Margie Goldstein-Engle. Her core foundation in the Hunter/Jumper discipline was very methodical from the beginning. The instruction and philosophy that Ashley received in riding and horsemanship remain with her today. Another highlight of her development as a rider was a summer spent overseas in Belgium, training with international Grand Prix rider Tal Milstien.

Her training over the years, competing in a variety of disciplines, has rewarded her riding accomplishments in various rings. Ashley has successfully competed on the A and AA rated circuits through Grand Prix Jumpers and International Hunter Derby's with much success as a junior, amateur, and now as a professional. Ashley has a traditional approach to training, with emphasis on flat work and creating a sound, strong foundation. She teaches with a structured, goal-oriented outlook and a joyful, positive manner, establishing an effective and pleasant environment for both riders and horses.
